Curtiss-Wright to acquire Ultra Energy

03 June 2024

Ultra Group has been exploring options regarding the potential sale of Ultra Energy. On May 30, an agreement was signed for Curtiss Wright to acquire 100% of Ultra Energy. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals which are expected to conclude within the next two to three months. Both Curtiss Wright and Ultra Energy are immensely excited about the combination and the future opportunities it creates for all our stakeholders.

Curtiss-Wright is a global, integrated provider of safety-critical and differentiated solutions, with an established record of operating in many of the same sectors as Ultra Energy. With a 95-year history of innovation, engineering and manufacturing excellence, the Curtiss-Wright name is synonymous with performance, a customer-first mentality and prudent financial stewardship that has resulted in an enduring legacy of growth and strong profitability.

One of Curtiss-Wright’s key strategic objectives is growth through the acquisition of companies that serve common and complimentary markets with technologies and solutions that can enhance its offering to customers. Ultra Energy is viewed as a very important strategic addition to Curtiss Wright, adding new critical capabilities to better serve the combined group’s customer base.

We are committed to ensuring a seamless transition for our customers. Ultra Energy will continue to provide the same, high-quality solutions and dedication that you currently receive under the same terms of business – it is very much business as usual. Going forward, we believe that as a part of a globally integrated engineering solutions company, Ultra Energy will be better positioned to support your complex needs both now and well into the future.
